Meet Benjamin Arthur.
Inspired by Brave Hearts: Benjamin’s Journey
In May 2022, our hearts connected with young Benjamin, who, at just 11 months old, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. His journey was filled with incredible challenges and remarkable resilience.
Benjamin’s battle began with surgery, which took place only a week after Mother’s Day, followed by the start of his chemotherapy the very next week. It was a rollercoaster of ups and downs.
His first birthday was spent within the hospital’s walls, an unfortunate necessity due to an infection at his surgery site. It was during this stay that Benjamin received his first blood transfusion, a lifeline due to dangerously low blood counts.
The initial weeks of navigating this uncertain path were incredibly frightening for Benjamin and his family. They grappled with the unknown, facing questions about health, safety, and a new reality.
Explore Benjamin’s inspiring journey and learn how he and his family have coped with the challenges and changes this illness has brought into their lives.
